Contract Variance report with Shift Notes
A report cloned from an existing Core report, with a Shift Notes column added at the end.
Business problem
- Analysts needed each day's shift note beside contract variance data.
Solution
- Pick the first clocked-in segment's note for the day, falling back to the first segment with a note, capped at 100 characters.
Implementation
- Daily segment rules confirmed with the analyst
- Notes shown independent of Print Date Detail
- Restructured to the RecordInfo pattern

- Row and column alignment in the detail line
