Client-specific module split
Separated one shared module into two customer-specific modules.
Business problem
- Two enhancements merged into one module began causing issues for both customers.
Solution
- Created a new module branch from only the relevant commits and renamed its project and module number.
Implementation
- Commit-level separation using GitHub Desktop
- Project-wide rename in the new module
Challenges
- Keeping each module free of the other's changes
Results
- Each customer has a module containing only its own code
